The day begins on the shores of the Bay of Kotor — one of the most scenic parts of the Adriatic. Here, hikers cross the narrow Verige strait by ferry (free for pedestrians) and enter the municipality of Tivat, opening a new landscape of Montenegro.
On the second day you will see
Bar Kamenari — a true Montenegrin kafana operating since 1906.
A historic building full of atmosphere; the owner is a sea captain who has circled the globe several times.
Gornja Lastva — a tiny 15th-century village hidden among olive trees.
Mount Vrmac — the ridge dividing the Kotor and Tivat bays.
The Bay of Kotor — your companion throughout the first two days.
The Donja Lastva promenade — a charming line of houses with stone terraces right on the water.
Cape Seljanovo with its lighthouse and Ponta Beach — surrounded by sea on three sides.
Porto Montenegro — a modern marina district with superyachts and boutiques.
The Submarine — part of the Naval Heritage Collection museum.
Tivat’s Captain’s Park — the oldest botanical garden in Montenegro, founded in 1892.
Župa Park and the abandoned 16th-century Bizanti summer villa in Renaissance style.
A unique view of the runway located right by the shoreline.
