12 kilometres of untouristic Montenegro, quiet villages with almost no people around, Jaz — one of the best sandy beaches in the country — and a finale in Budva, one of the oldest towns on the entire Adriatic, once the border between the Eastern and Western Roman Empires.
Transition into Montenegro’s coastal and tourism capital
In the first half of the day, you’ll see what everyday, non-touristic Montenegro looks like — stone houses, hills and forests — then swim at Jaz Beach, and finally enter the country’s most visited town. This stage crosses from Kotor Municipality into Budva Municipality.
Places you will see on the fourth day
Glavatičići — Kubasi — Glavati — Višnjevo — Montenegrin hamlets surrounded by forests and mountains.
Jaz Beach — one of Montenegro’s best and most famous beaches.
Mogren Fort — a 19th-century Austrian coastal fortification.
The Old Town of Budva — founded 2,500 years ago, with a citadel, churches, squares and early-era ruins.

Route features
From Mogren Fort to Mogren Beach, the trail goes down using ropes, followed by several dozen metres across large rocks. Between Mogren Beaches 1 and 2, the bridge inside the rock may be missing — in that case, you must cross the water on foot or walk across a narrow beam with a handrail. This section (from Mogren Fort to Budva Old Town) must NOT be attempted during storms.
